A small family farm operated by Gil & Nancy Chichester specializing in grass fed meat products for nearly 30 years. They work really hard to produce the highest quality meat possible from animals raised as naturally as possible.
Rotational grazing is a key farming practice of theirs to keep their animals healthy. Herds are regularly and systematically moved to fresh pasture to maximize the quality and quantity of forage growth. Allowing pasture to recover allows the vegetation to renew energy reserves, rebuild shoot systems and deepen the root systems. Animals can reach their energy and nutritional requirements without the need to supplement their diet.
No chemical fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides are used on the farm. Their cattle, sheep, lambs and goats are totally grass fed. The grains used to supplement only the pastured chickens and pigs are mixed to their specifications without antibiotics, hormones or animal byproducts.
